Seriously? You wouldn't want an LS3 powered, rear wheel drive, 4 door that can run with a SS Camaro and have the same mod potential as an SS Camaro? Perhaps you've not heard about the Chevy SS??? I would take one over a Regal GS any day of the week.

I looked at the Regal when it came back, and the Lacrosse. The placement of the door pillar bothered me. I really (really) liked both of them, but I just couldn't get comfortable seeing out the car. Probably something you get used to...

Lol great point! She has said she would be happy with either and likes how both drive. She just isn't sure which she likes more.

I'd say the Buick GS...that way you have a bigger car for long trips, can fit more people comfortably in it if need be, and if by chance you have kids she won't have to sell it early and take a loss with negative equity and get a bigger car.

I've got a 2014 Malibu LTZ with 2.0L Turbo---essentially same car as Regal GS but without Buick panache. We had the same internal decisions; I had doubts regarding power and performance. Didn't like the size and price of the redesigned Impala (previous 2 cars were Impalas); drove Turbo and was sold immediately.
