**NEW** C7 Hurst Short throw shifter!!!

We've (TheDoubleAA.com) been working on this for a while and finally got time to finish it up today. We designed a Hurst style shifter with short throw and also have different options for the new shifter as well!

In my opinion it shifts amazingly now. I've not stalled it since I installed it and seems to shift a heck of alot smoother.

Let me know what ya'll think!

fairly similar with a few other modifications. I worked with a guy that has a phd in fluid mechanics to get this right. It works great and even my wife commented on how much easier it was for her to shift it.

How hard is it to remove and replace the console? Any "how to" links?

Thanks,

I'd like to see, or get the link to, the how to as well especially on removing the trim pieces and center console, if it's ok.

email me and I'll see if I can get you the pfd. On a side note the center section is push pin style in and can pop right out. To remove the shifter you'll need to turn the ring counter clock wise and pull down to reveal the screw holding it in place.

That's pretty much how it works on a C6. I replaced my stock manual shifter with a short-throw shifter (different vendor) and the improvement was very nice.

I sold my coupe and bought a convertible and the very first mod I'll be doing on the convertible is adding the short throw shifter. Even my wife loved it which is saying something!

I had a MGW in my C6. Liked I a lot but I don't feel it necessary to change out the C7. Yet.

If you live near Houston you can compare the shift points from mine to the stock and it's a night and day difference.

Great job on the shifter. Can't go wrong with the old school white shift knob
