Becky,
Hopefully the last time I need an update RDSDRD.

So I see they are shipping to Nashville first. Is this how they all are going out and what does it look like once they get there? Seeing if there is any consistency yet.

Thanks

They are checking over the vehicles and
will ship to the dealers from there. I would
think the status will go to 4B00-bayed and
then 4200-shipped. We'll need to keep an
eye on it
Weird, when I talked to my dealer and GM customer service they both said it stayed in bowling green....I specifically asked that question.
The dealer even sent me the chat he had with DCB (Whoever that is)

Thanks again.

Not weird at all. The 4000 plus status numbers are not specific even though they seem to be. And even when a pattern seems to emerge, it is only a seeming pattern.

I have posted before but it seems it bears repeating, the status level changes may appear to be linear and specific but they are NOT. They bounce around in a way that defies logic and some of them have more than one meaning and NO ONE to my knowledge has ever 100% figured them out. Lord knows I have tried.

Thanks laborsmith for trying to explain the un-explainable.

I just got of the chat line with GM trying to drill down where my car is ACTUALLY being stored. They said it shipped to TN yesterday. YESTERDAY!!! I'm extremely frustrated at this point, seeing how it was built on Aug 28. I was anxious when the first deliveries took off thinking I would be on there....no, QC, ok fine. Now I find out that not only did they not ship it, they left it in the lot and just now shipped it for QC. I'm sure I sound like a child right now, but others on here feel my pain.

-Please ignore my comment- But....

Sometimes I get the feel that Laborsmith its like the "Architect" from the Matrix here....

If so...... then Becky would be the Oracle??

(just fooling around here) LOL

Cheer Up folks, the wait will worth it.

Bexky is definitely the Oracle.

On the other hand, I am a Smith! And a Smith does not an architect make.

Loved the post. Thanks for the sentiment.

Just to add to this, the same exists for the BMW Plant in South Carolina. I worked for them for 24 years and retired, and all that time the codes jumped around like crazy. Simply because they are not built for customer, they are to be used internally and we get to look at them. But the codes are not tripped by some mechanical automatic device as they move thru their system, they are applied when human interaction moves them. A bit murky, but production does not really do it so you can understand it and track it. After struggling with it for years to inform customers, I tried to just peg the "ETA to dealer" and forgot about everything else....

Hi, Becky! Some good news today, my dealer received the invoice for my Stingray! Paperwork complete, now just waiting to see when my car gets to the Museum. Would you please see if RBCP20 has moved to 4200? My dealer couldn't get an update this evening, it was at 4300 earlier this week. Thanks a bunch!

I heard on another site that there might be some issues with the CF roof. This might account for the delay since the CF roof had a constraint recently.
Hey man- I have the same exact car, except its arctic white and has MRC.

I really am thinking there is an issue with the CF roof that is being caught in QC. Maybe they are waiting for new roofs to install ??! Either way that would explain why they are stuck at 3800.. Or maybe they built our cars without the roofs just to keep the line moving and will replace them with the CF's... Who knows I guess... Sucks

Hey Becky while I am talking about this already, can you give me my morning disappointing news for order RCFMNV ? At this point it seems it will be at 3800
Status for a long time... Maybe the workers are using it instead of a golf cart to transport them around the property easier.
