Have you got a part name or number for this vent valve?

The problem was described as "the canister vent valve not sealing properly. vent valve leaking internally." FP Number - 22865590. Description - valve 3.130.
Hope that helps. |

I'm so frustrated! I love my Car, but it seems to be in the shop more than I acutally get to drive it.
Now I have the p0442 code on my vehicle 13300 miles. They already replaced my gas cap. I took it to my mechanice for a oil change and the light came on again. He pulled the codes and it was the same one.. So he put it up on the rack and said that I have a radiator leak. I asked was it from a rock or something and he said no, that this is a defect and that I needed to take it back to the dealership!!! Just wanted to update my post. Took into the dealership today and they had to replace the purge valve in the emissions canister. Hope this helps anyone that might have this issue occur. There is a bulletin about this, but no recall as of yet. Last edited by tbears13; 04-08-2013 at 12:42 PM. Reason: update |

i'm at just under 20k miles, and still hasn't come up since, i've tuned it with a programmer a few times with Jet Performance, then got it supercharged and tuned again to adjust for LT headers and what not... i guess all i can say is good luck, but if you get it fixed, i'm sure it could help others in the future if you post what was done to correct it, as i'm not convinced enough that it's the gas cap.
