I have finally decided on new rims and sizes and tires, blah blah. But now, since I'm going 20x10 sizes, my current tires won't fit on them for front. Well I might as well go with the tire size I want on the front, but doing that would through off the size of the stock size rear tires, as the heights would be too much and throw a code. SOB!! Now I would need new rear tires. The current tires don't even have 5k miles on them. And selling tires is a hassle with my limited free time.

I am wanting to go with 285/35/20 on the front and 295/35/20 on the rear with 20x10 and 20x10.5.

I could probably go 20x9.5 on the front and keep the existing stock sizes. Then when they wear down, go with the new tire sizes on front and back.

thoughts guys?????
I think you should send me your current wheels and go 305s all around

I am currently running stock 245/45 on 20x8.5 front, and 275/40 on 20x10. I run the Vred Vorti's and they don't have a 305/35 option. I have tried to find any possible options to keep two current tires and only buy 2 new, but just won't happen. The Vorti's grip just as good as the MPSS4 on the track, and just as good in wet weather for almost half the cost. My goal was to go 20x10 front and 20x10.5 or 20x11 for the rear (no cost difference and more rim is more weight so goal is 10.5). then I can go 285/35 with 295/35 rear. I do HPDE on occassion, but no desire for a square setup.

Stop by and pick them up for $300, for all the rims, tires, the whole shabang.

So... I bought me a gloss black ZL1/1LE spoiler. For some reason, USPS doesn’t want to give it to me yet because I was supposed to get it on Monday. I’ve filed a “find my package” request so hopefully this will all be cleared up soon. If I actually do get this spoiler, I’d have gotten it at a helluva deal. The guy selling it just wanted to get it out of his garage so he said I’d only have to pay shipping. His first quote was for $110, but he later got another quote for $70. I had already paid the $110 and told him to keep the rest because it was already such a great deal for an OEM spoiler. It’s gonna add that final thing that my car seems to be missing.

have you looked at the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's? i'll be giving them a shot next time I need tires. they offer 285/35 and 305/35 in 20" wheel sizes. so far they have great reviews and are priced very well. could be a great option

They have just not received good reviews, here on the forum, for track/autocross use. Great tire, but suffers when pushing hard in cornering. I think for spirited driving, they would be a great deal.

ah i did not notice the track part... i'm not sure of a budget tire that would be good in those situations. maybe the bfg sport comp 2 or nitto nt555 g2?

there is also the new goodyear tire that comes on the 6th gen cars. probably expensive but they will work

The Vred Vorti's I have are awesome as hell on the track, and great in wet weather. I love the tire and will replace them with the same, the problem is I have 4 tires that won't work with my new rims. The problem I have is the sizes I currently have, and not being able to use them with the new rims I have. The tires are not worn. So I am debating on waiting till I put some more miles on them, or just screw it and replace it all now.

Kind of hard to put miles on the car when the weather still things it's winter though.

Goodyear g2s or take a shot at the new G3s? Also MP4S would be on the table. Those are the tires on my list for replacement
