Multiple Horn Tones?
So after a car wash on monday I locked my car and noticed the lock chirp sounded weaker and less tonal, as in a flat tone unlike normal. However, the weird thing is that actually hitting the horn on the wheel produces the normal sound. Anyone have any ideas? Is my horn dying or something?

Is it possible it has 2 horns? One for the alarm tucked away and hard to access so a thief can't cut the wires etc and one "normal" horn on the rad support. A lot of cars I see have that now.

This is what I'm starting to think is the issue. I think one might be dying or at the very least a bad ground. Of course I imagine the only way to check is to pull off the bumper cover lol

The two horns under the lights are high tone and low tone horns, there may still be one hidden somewhere else, a lot are hidden under the wiper cowel on most imports, not sure on GM stuff though.

I'm having the same issue on my car, the locking horn chirps really low at times, other times it doesn't at all. Have you taken the car to your dealer see what they say?
