I love my 2014 V6. I've gotten the "Oh, you didn't get the V8" a few times. I could care less, I bought the car for me. Funny enough, some of those people drove the crappiest cars on the planet.

I've always been completely satisfied with mine! My son drives a '12 2SS Bumblebee, modded. After driving my car he was surprised at it's agility. Again, as others have said in this thread, it's all in what you want personally.

It's funny at the amount of people upset over this post. I can tell you one thing, fuel Eco is the worst excuse for why people have a v6 as me and my father in law get the exact same miles per gallon. Lay off the guy, the v6 is a mistake in his eyes. I have driven a v6 and there is no comparison to the v8, if people were so happy with them why are y'all modding the hell out of them? Why have half the people in this thread upgraded to a v8? I thought all y'all v6 drivers would have gotten thicker skin from having a v6. I bet y'all are going to give the 4 cylinder guys hell.

Could of had a V8
I purchased my 2010 Camaro LS brand new. I drove both the V8 and the V6 decided to go with the 3.6 manual after researching all of the after market performance options that are available. I have done many modifications to my Camaro and enjoy building to my specifications and tastes to make it my own and will continue to do so. My first car was a 68 Camaro 327 V8 with 4 speed Muncie rock crusher. My 2010 had more HP stock and handles much better than my 68 did. I go to car shows and have ran on road course tracks with my V6 and get a lot of compliments even from other Camaro owners with V8's. This gives me a lot of satisfaction as no one has put a wrench on my car except for myself. I have no regrets on my decision, as long as you are happy with your Camaro that is all that matters. I have no plans to trade up to A V8, but have the option to install one when my V6 is tired. No matter what you have under the hood it is still a Camaro and that is the most important thing to remember.

Why the hell they modding their V8s than??????? Why mod their ZL1s???????? Why mod the Z28s?????? Get rid of all the aftermarket parts and everybody stay stock I guess is the answer. Buy your power upfront and don't touch ever again I guess.

I did the same mistake luckily I purchased my v6 smartly and had equity to justify the trade up. I bought my v6 last year for about $20,000 1LT-RS (took advantage of huge sale)
Just traded it in for a 2015 1LE RS NPP. They gave me $21,800 for the 2014 (more than I paid for it) My interest is at 1.9% last year. After everything my payment went up about $60 but now I have this beauty |
