I don't feed the dogs for a few days and leave them out in the yard.

JK, last time they were left to their own devices, they ate the neighbors dog.

The Camaro hasn't gone on a trip or on a vacation with me yet; it gets to stay at home with the dog. LOL.

However, if I were to take it on a long road trip, I'd fill it with gas, check all the vitals (air, water, oil, etc.), clean it up, and tape off the nose, mirrors and gills, since I have don't have clear bra anywhere on the car.

I could not go off and leave my Camaro home. It would be heartbroken! Probably would never run right again.

Absolutely nothing since we keep our vehicles in tip top shape all the time. We've done a few long road trips and just had the vehicle serviced wherever we were when it was time. We've driven to Alaska and Newfoundland from Texas, covering over 12,000 miles each trip so there was no way to avoid having the vehicle serviced on the road.

I'm on day 3 right now of a two week jaunt in Spain with the family and I pulled out all the stops before I left for vacation including locking all the doors (it sits outside). I haven't washed it in over 3 weeks.

I don't do anything I left it parked with the front on jack stands for 5 weeks. But it was in a garage that's prob the most important thing to do store it indoors somewhere

Unplug the garage door opener, the release cable is already disabled or I would do that. Pin all the windows, and arm the attack cat.

Check fluid levels, gas, and go... would say check tire pressure but if your sensors are working correctly, you shouldn't have to unless you get a warning light.

I'm doing a 435mi day trip from Riverside to Elk Grove (Sacramento) and back again (about 900 total miles) this Wednesday on business. I could fly, but I would rather drive... 6.5hrs each way up some beautiful California roads...
