When I listed my LT2 for sale recently I specifically warned people of this exact scam. It seems if you reply to a sellers ad, the scammers PM you saying something like their friends with the seller and claim the seller is not active on the forum and they give you what they claim is the seller's email. It happened to me when I was trying to buy something a while back, though I knew of this type of scam so didn't work on me. Bottom line is do not deal with anyone other then the original poster. As someone else said, if they are not active on this forum, why would they post something here. Even then be careful of the usual signs like posters that just joined and have 0 or very low posts.
