Just mounted one tire but Chevrolet doesnt have the valve stems in stock so I had to order them, dont want to risk it by re-using. Also here is a pic of the wheel its slightly different than the Z28 on close inspection but I like it alot.

also the actual z28 wheel for reference

Don't get me wrong...I'm a fan of plasti dip with accents but your car looked way better before SIM. Every time I see a whole car dipped it just makes me think that it looks like it was painted with primer due to the flat look. To each his own of course and if you like it that's all that matters.

thats why its temporary, its still silver under there fellas. I am getting it wrapped next year quoted $2500. Hey im only 27 and attend a lot of car meets and i have fun doing this stuff.

oh i forgot to mention i bought the ZL1 fender off someone on this forum and the paint started flaking terribly on the front and sides and got quoted almost $500 to repaint the bumper and blend the hood etc so i added a few hundred dollars more and got a new look for the summer.

I think it looks great!! I agree I love vinyl wrap over plasti dip, but for the price and easy to remove it's a lot of fun to do each year!!! I got a friend that's been a painter his entire life and just bought a professional dip gun, offered me cost of materials to get his name out there... Very tempting, wanting a charcoal pearl bottom half and a black pearl top half... Gonna toss it around

i like it too, love seeing the confused faces of people, some say did they forget to clearcoat? but my fav is, it loooks like a huge toy car. stay tuned for more pics about to mount these tires with rubber valves until the oem stock valves come monday.

Even though mine is wrapped vs plasti-dipped, matte finishes definitely show the body lines off

Looking for rims on craigslist and I stumbled upon this...

http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sgv...442324384.html

Only in LA and apparently for bimmers but reminds me of the Z28, 20x10 and 20x11, plus its pretty cheap so...
