275 on the front

I have the ZL1 factory reproductions. 20x9 on all four. Will a 275 fit upfront on the 9" wheel?

I see plenty of people running them with a 10" wheel. Just making sure before I order tires. Thanks

You'll be fine....you can run a 275 on a 9" rim with no issues. The stock rear's on the SS are 275's and they are running on 9" rims. I have a 275 upfront on mine with a 10.5" rim.

I have the Factory repos on my car with a +23 offset. My rims are 10 inch rims but the 275s will fit on a 9 inch rim. It is going to come down to your offset on your rims, If you have +23 you will be fine. 275s should be ok, if they were 285s or 295s thats another story.

Yea I know the 275 will fit on the 9" wheel. I was talking about the tire and wheel fitting under the car with no rubbing. Sorry for the miscommunication

What is the aspect ratio on the tires and do you know the offset? Should be just fine if its a 275/40, but we will need to know the offset to be sure.

YES, a 275 works just fine....I have been running 275's on stock 9" wheels in the front of mine for nearly 2 years. no issues at all. actually it made the car handle a lot better.

Would I be able to run a 275/40 up front with a 33 offset and bmr lower springs? What about 305/35 in the rear. Thanks in advance

That's gonna be close, but it'll fit. I actually have a similar setup on my SS. I took the rims off my Z (to replace with Z28 rims) and put them on the SS. I have 315's on the rear, though.

Yea, as far as the OP's question, without a doubt. I run 285/35/20 10" wide on the front of my SS. Not one problem.
