What the...?!? Does it smell funny?

The pics show a car that is flawless, gorgeous, clean, and ready to roll.

It may be missing an engine and/ or a transmission, but even if that were the case, wouldn't it be worth more to replace those than to part this thing out?

Depending on Ca. salvage laws they may be able to part it out cheaper than rebuild for sale.

There's good money in used parts...

It could have been under water or who knows what. It was sold at an insurance auction, and as Mr Twisty said it may be impossible to re-sell as a vehicle that can be titled. The VIN # is in pic 6, run a Carfax

I don't think you can buy the car for $1 . I think they just did that to get folks attention . I could be wrong ... That car is worth thousands even without a engine and tranny just in parts.
