20% off is where MSRP SHOULD be realistically.

I agree, too. Unfortunately, it has not changed. So in most states, you pay tax on the rebate. Good hunting to those living in states where you don't pay the tax on the rebate..... Move fast if you're ready to buy. Offer ends Jan. 2.

Bought a silver 2015 Z/28 today for 20% plus additional $1000 off plus $1500 GM Card Earnings today. Strange how there are some 2015's that are included in dealership's oldest 15% in inventory. Was Viper shopping yesterday, now a Z/28 owner today. Funny how things can change overnight.

What I want to know is how the people who bought a Z/28 and paid the 75k are going to be compensated? What about the people who bought a new ZL1 or SS last week and paid the full price, just for it to be knocked off 20% this week?

I expect GM will be receiving a lot of phone calls from pissed off customers, who spent the money up front, just to be kicked in the face at the end of the year, with the 20% off a Z/28.

Explanation, please?

Life happens and things change! And ppl did say to wait for the 6th Gen to be revealed so you could get a steal on the 5th Gens! This is the steal that everyone said to wait for!

When 2013-14 Vipers received a $15k price drop, owners who bought one prior to that received $15k vouchers toward a future Viper purchase. It's only fair.

I would suspect this as well. But I am not sure GM really has to do anything. It's just like any discount/incentive that is offered it's for the time period specified. A few years back we bought my Wife's Honda, within a week of taking delivery Honda announced nice rebates, we tried to get the rebate applied but no go as we were outside the period.

This being all said what a time to buy for those who have been sitting on the fence, picking up a brand new car that months ago commanded prices in the upper 70s now for 60k. It's a great time for buyers, horrible time for those who had already bought. Wish I could swing it financially.

The website uses the SS for the example. GM actually notifies the dealer which VINs qualify. Lot's of Z28's qualify. I hear they are moving pretty quickly. As are the nice ZL1's.
