UPDATE #4: Covered Bridge is a GO!

UPDATE #3: I dropped Van Sant Airport from the cruise route. I may try and give them a call and see if they have anything going on this Sunday. I stopped in there this past weekend early afternoon and a bunch of bikes were hanging out but no airplane or glider action. I also cruised and updated the last few steps of the route where I know there were road closures so that is now taken care of.

UPDATE #2: Added a 5th Covered Bridge (Loux) as it was recently re-opened after repair work and changed route to accommodate. I will have hand-outs printed for everyone day of cruise.

UPDATE: Here's my first pass at a route and directions. We can go thru 4 Covered Bridges and check out Van Sant airport (link below). My best 'guesstimate' is this would take us to around Noon.

11 REGROUP We can pull into Dilly's restaurant on Right after bridge

Do NOT Cross bridge on right

Van Sant is a pretty cool grass strip airport with usually a lot of activities on the weekends. Could make for a pretty neat photo location if not too crowded.

LUNCH Ideas:

1. Head north to intersection of rte 32 and 611 to the American Diner.

2. Head south to Doylestown to Five Guys Burgers. It shares parking lot with Giant grocery store so plenty of space. If Berks crew takes PA turnpike, this is pretty convenient for them to get right back on 611 south to Willow Grove.

3. Head further south to Newtown and hit the Applebees.

I'll edit the first post with who's coming if you can cut and paste and add to your post.
