I agree. You want your pump system done by "Good Enough Performance" or do you want it done the best for your application? Same with porting or tuning or assembly.

I run a BAP on a stock pump and have never had any issues. (Knock on wood)

Was yours tuned for the ZL1 pump? It doesn't do much without changing the tables. I'll be at the limits of my ZL1 setup shortly after my heads/cam swap, and am thinking of either the ADM twins or something similar, I'm not sure I need the full blast Squash type setup.

Don't cheap out on a fuel system.
Most have no problem spending $6000-$8000 on a forced induction setup(supercharger or turbo setup). But is afraid to spend $1000-$3000 on a fuel system & injectors to feed the engine correctly. Once the engine runs out of fuel, you'll have to spend $5000-$10000 on a new engine, plus you'll be forced to upgrade the fuel system anyway after or risk to break it again. |

We have been selling our dual pump system since 2009, and even have customers nearing the 100,000 mile mark on them with absolutely zero failures of the FPFCM or the pumps themselves. We have used them in anything from a 600rwhp car, all the way to 1000rwhp (with a BAP fitted to assist). We even have customers using E85 (although, it's not rated for it) and have been using them for years. We are an OEM supplier, and do quite a lot of product development and engineering in our facility for the OEM's. We just have taken them time to figure out the balance between what's needed, and what's not. We are never ones do do anything halfway, but we also make certain we aren't selling people components they do not need either. We always try to spend our customer's money like it's our own: Wisely. |

Sounds great Andy, my pump just got here yesterday looks like a great piece. Looking forward to seeing what he can do with my AGP TwinTurbo kit and 1000cc injectors. As soon as all my parts to get here, I'll be installing them and let you know how it works, thanks

Can I just take and run two ZL1 fuel pumps and just tap them together.

The pump comes with the bucket and there is not room, nor plumbing for two pumps in there. If you want dual pumps you need an aftermarket setup.
I engineer a lot of stuff because I'm unwilling to pay for aftermarket pieces, but there are several reasons I would not try engineering my own dual ZL1 pump rig.

The ZL-1 pump by itself is no better than the stock pump on back to back testing. Add the ADM fuel pump control module, With tuning, and you can easily support 650 RWHP on a LS3 Add an MSD voltage booster to both the ZL-1 pump and ADM controller, it will support 700 RWHP LS3. Hope this helps. Ted.

There's no way around it, dual fuel pumps is best way for over 700rwhp. Fore makes an awesome kit. But you need to reach into your pockets and remove a couple grand. I was in the same delimma, I just sucked it up and spent the 3 grand on everything. Now I'm all set to 1300rwhp.
