Picked Up my 2014 Camaro 2SS/RS with extras

Hi guys,

I wanted to show you my new Camaro. It is a 2SS/RS with dual mode exhuast and performance short throw shifter.

This is my first car I have ever owned, I have owned chevy trucks all my life. I traded in my 14 Silverado Z71 and haven't had the first regret and won't ever. My wife got the 14 Traverse so I can hook a trailer to it if I need anything from HD/Lowes.

Without further adue: I took her out Saturday evening after a quick bath to the Marina and took a quick pic of her.

Just today during my lunch break, I removed the fuse in the F8 position in the back of the trunk to keep the dual mode exhaust valve open. I haven't taken her for a drive yet but itching to leave work to do so.

I am going to get my windows tinted first since my son was getting irritated by the sun through the back glass while out for a drive.

I have seen a lot of mods on other's Camaros but just wanted to see what you guys thought about the order of mods which will have the biggest impact on performance as well as appearance. I am just starting on my research for these mods since this is my first car, I haven't ever thought about these things.

Long Tube Headers
Cold Air Intake
Performance Chip
Body Kit / Front Spoiler
Lower Springs

I have been searching around for inspiration for black camaros and haven't found much. I do know I hate the fog lights on this car. Why would they pair yellow fog lights with the new HID lights? Which means a new front bumper I guess. I like the vertical fog lights but don't know what type of bumpers those are.

Oh I am in the Triad of NC so if anyone else is around, I would enjoy going for a drive / working on cars. I have a full garage with tools.

Edited to add Headers as probably my first performance upgrade. Windows tint being my first overall upgrade.

You may find my journal below helpful. Specifically regarding fogs, bright white replacement H11 bulbs are readily available. I paid $35 for 80w LEDs. Go to last page and work back. Easy plug and play.

Very nice '14. Your planned mods look good to me. The lowering really helps with the handling on these.

Congrats on the New Camaro! Welcome to the Family. I live in NC as well. You should check out the 5th Gen Camaros of the Carolinas. Great car club and we do events like car shows, tail of the dragon, cruise-ins. One time 25$ membership fee, which includes a Club t-shirt and 15$ of that goes to charity. Currently we have 160 or so members last time I checked. So check it out if your interested.

Congrats. I think black is probably the best looking color for this car.

Nice car and the bumper your talking about with vertical lights is the ZL1 bumper, also instead of performance chip look into a dyno tune, it'll deffiently give you the best performance.

Awesome that is just what I was looking for. I don't know why they would put yellow fog lights on the car...

From my research its headers for $/HP then lowering for better ride and look.

Awesome yes that is the one. Pretty pricey. I might change out the color of the lights to white and go from there. Maybe just a front spoiler on the bottom. I won't make any changes until I get my headers and lower springs installed just to be sure.
