So i ordered my camaro on may 8th, and i was wondering how long it took to get your camaro? The dealership says 8-12 weeks but i doubt, because upon further investigation the dealership didn't want to make promises they couldn't come through on. Much thanks to those who answer. (and if anyone from GM sees this can you give me the average time?)

There IS no average time. There IS no one from GM that can give you an average time. The average time IS the time it takes from the day you order it to the day you pick it up.

Who did you order from? Im also in the bay and have had some experiences with a few of the chevy dealers in the area

I also ordered May 8th and am already at 3000........my dealer said 8 to 12 weeks also. He has been getting his cars in that time frame so far. I was 8 of 8 allocations and it's looking like July for delivery.

well i ordered mine in oct, so it might get there by christmas if you go by me, and i still dont have mine

I'm thinking it would be faster to just re-order. It's like when you stand in line for 30 minutes waiting for help, and then they open a new line right next to you and people just walk up and get helped right away.

yea i kinda wish i did that about a month ago, but now it should be here any day, but i guess they told me that 2 months ago too!!!!
im really getting pissed, i am a hardcore gm guy but this is making me think about switching brands after this car, i have been told my car should be here soon for the last few months. if it would hurt gm i would have canceled my order along time ago, and got a different one, but it wont.

I ordered end of March, looks like I will have delivery by as early as June 5 to 12, that's 8 to 12 weeks !

ITS all about allocation. Thats it. If your dealership has allocations or even given an additional amount, that ll determine when you get your car.

Don't know what accolation means (I'm a Newb sry) But dont know how i would find out since the dealership is kinda of putting me in the dark. (Should be a little patient but guess it's my fault for hyping myself up)
