Back up camera / sensor?

Everything I read seems to indicate there is a back up camera but nothing that gives an audible sound when getting close to something. Just wanted to confirm with a current owner.

no sensors on this car, cars that have those you will see multiple 1/2 inch round plugs on the rear bumper, behind those are the sensors.

This is the first car I've owned that has a back-up camera. I'm getting the hang of using it by backing up and getting out of the car to check where I've stopped compared to where I think I've stopped based on the colored lines in the display. I find that using the red lines gives me the most accurate distance and I'm comfortable now with stopping just before the red lines contact what I see.
I still use the mirrors and have both the driver's and passenger side programmed to tilt down when the car is in reverse. This comes in handy when curbs are involved.
I may add the "curb alert" system for the front end. A friend installed it on his Stingray. Just waiting to hear his comments about the install and how accurate it is.
There are posts on installing this device and the feedback, overall, is pretty good.

I'm glad that the C7 doesn't have sensors, I know that it's a small detail but they look really ugly in my opinion. They just seem to stick out and look out of place on cars.

The back up camera is more than enough to suit my needs.

Don't know about yours, but mine gives me an audible warning. Every time my wife is in the car with me and I'm backing up, I start hearing a loud noise if I get even close to anything!!
