coated headers?

Thinking of getting a set of Longtubes either ARH, KOOKS, or TSP and what to coat them, I see they are all stainless but has anyone one here have them ceramic coated? Or can you even have them coated?

Yes, you can have stainless steel headers ceramic coated. We offer ceramic coating on all of our headers for an extra charge of corse. It looks great and will reduce under hood temps some but it really won't offer an extra performance (your hot lapping times at the track might benefit). If that's worth the extra cost to you then go for it. Give us a call and we can go over your options.

Many people on here have their headers coated. I personally don't feel it's worth the extra cost with stainless steel headers, but to each their own. We have an awesome promo going right now on Kooks. Feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions.

Best regards,

The coating may help with under hood temps. Remember Kooks Headers have a lifetime warranty and we have been in business since 1962. Give one of these vendors a call!!

This link was posted in another thread on here http://www.corvettenewsblog.com/2011...vette-headers/

I was going back and forth on getting my headers coated, but I decided to spend the money on something else.
