Accidentally Restore to Factory Tune With Code Reader???

I want to know if using a code reader to delete the check engine light codes will remove the Dyno tune programmed by a shop??

So I have my 2013 SS with Headers, Muffler Delete, And Dyno tuned, and about 2 months after getting the Dyno tune done at a shop my Check Engine Light came on.... So we tried this code reader and the codes that showed up were -

P2270
P2272

Which after a quick google search appear to both be directly related to the o2 sensors. So we reset the codes and now my car almost feels like it is running like it did before the tune, or maybe its just because something is wrong with the o2 sensors, or maybe its just all in my head...??

1) Will resetting CEL codes restore the factory tune?

2) Anybody know what exactly these codes mean (P2270, P2272)?

No it will not reset your pcm to a factory state. Those codes are for downstream sensors.....if I am not mistaken. Forgive me I am traveling on the road and dont have my OBDII reference codes with me.

If I am correct then most likely the tuner overlooked it.

you say "we".....do you mean the shop that tuned it and yourself?

Thanks. And by 'we' I meant myself and a buddy. The shop only did the original dyno tune

Resetting codes will not restore your PCM to stock

These codes mean O2 signal stuck lean Bank 1 sensor 2, Bank 2 sensor 2

I suggest you revisit your tuner.

Ted.

Many thanks. And I plan to revisit my tuner once and if the CEL comes back on.
