OP, sorry if this may seem like an obvious question but did you tune your vehicle when you added the CAI? Some require a tune or they will throw codes..

I'm having this issue too... I have LMR CAI.. Keeps throwing P0171 and P0174.. No vaccum leaks replaced MAF, fuel pressure is good... The funny thing is that the light comes on and goes away on it's own... So confused and dealer kept saying they need the stock airbox to look into it further.. If anyone had one I can borrow that would be great.. Or if you have been thru this and you know a solution that would be great also.. It's a 2010 SS automatic

Are you in Texas? That would be a long drive to Bellevue, WA. If you want to pay for me to ship it you, it's yours. I prefer to keep it out of the landfill.

Let me dig up and box. Once I find out how much it costs to ship it I will let you know.
Did you see the post above from Ponykiller74? He is in San Antonio. Not sure it that is any where close to you but would save you shipping costs. |

If you're throwing codes due to a CAI, that's usually due to the MAF sensor, not the CAI itself. You'll need to look at the number on your sensor and see if it's one of the "good" ones that don't tweak out once you move away from the factory airbox. I got lucky. My car came with a good one. :P

What numbers am I looking for man.. I replaced it with a duralast thinking I got that K&N oil on it and ****ed it up.. I still have the stock one and the only numbers I see on it are K16 and PBT-GF40
