What $92,235 Looks Like...
Just stopped by my local dealership to take a gander at the new 2015 Z06 3LZ in Velocity Yellow sitting in their showroom.
It sold to a gentleman down in Texas less than 30 hours after the dealership took delivery. Is it worth $92K? No offense to Z06 owners, but in my opinion... No. Adding all the ground effects and aero package options would add another $12K onto the price. Yes, it's a great looking car, but I'll keep the $30K it cost over my Stingray 2LT Z51. I can spend less and get my Stingray to where it would beat this Z06. From the looks of the window sticker, Tadge over-estimated the mileage of 29 mpg when he talked with the press. It is also nice to see that orange peel is still a free option in the paint. Also one of the screws holding the spoiler on was cross-threaded and sticking out about 1/4".

getting a 1LT Z06 with a GM dicount now prices in the low 70s. Now the z06 makes a lot of sense. The car is worth it at that price.
I think people are crazy to buy these loaded Z06s with all these addons from factory that drive up the price. Also i would rather have 650HP stock and with a warranty over a modded 700HP base stingray anyday. one word, warranty |

Well to me... my 1LZ Stage-1 Z06 is soooooo worth it. Best upgrade I ever did to my ex-Z51 Stingray. Case closed.

With Yellow on hold and possibly off the chart for 2016. Yellow lovers will be scrambling to buy one now!

No offense taken. But here is what $190,000.00 looks like. It's not about the money my friend...each person has to decide for themselves what something is worth to them. Quote:
