305/35/20 MTs shaking

I have a full drag radial set of drags & skinnies for the track. I just wanted a tire that would halfway hold on the street that I could put on the 20 inch stock wheels. The Mickeys hook as well as can be expected on the street but with less than 1000 miles they will shake your teeth out at 70 mph+. Do they need to be rebalanced often? Does anybody have any ideas or should I try the nittos? I'm up in the air a little right now. I know nothing is going to ride as well as the OE tires as far as drag radials are concerned but the OE tires are useless when playing around.
My car makes about 770 rwhp. Any help is appreciated.

I have seen a lot of issues with the Z06 size MT tires being out of round, and some having to be road force balanced.
I decided to stay away from them, and I'm going to run the NT05R on my ZL1.

That really sucks. Are these the new SS drag radials?

Is it possible you've spun the tires on the rim from burnouts or hard launches? That would mean a simple re-balance would fix the shaking. But if that's the cause it will happen again. You might need to dimple or rough up the inner edge of each wheel where the lip of the tire meets the rim. Avoid hard launches after remounting, at least overnight, as the lube used to mount the tires can allow the tire to move on the rim.

I have a set of those MT's. They were installed out of balance and shook horribly at 45 and faster. They rebalanced and they have been fine ever since.
