Quetion about maintenance, and catch can

So i am at about 27000 miles, and I decided id like to look into a catch can. I change my oil regularly, but recently i noticed a slight hesitation when i get ont he gas in 2nd and 3rd gear. I wasnt sure what the issue was so after i just changed the oil, i also did the air filter, since it looked decently dirty and i can get them for cheap. Anyway the hesitation is still there, and so i thought maybe the throttle body could be a little dirty. After looking around the forums i remembered the catch can, so im thinking my top end may be a bit gunked up.

So the questions are, at 27000 miles would a throttle body cleaning do anything? And If i were to install a catch can what would i have to do in order to clean up the build up that has compiled during my time without a catch can?

some will direct you to the sea foam previous posts, and a catch can is a good idea also maybe you got some bad gas that reset your fuel table.... and a throttle body cleaning would also be mainly for the intake and exhaust valves.
