This was a good read, subjective in certain areas of course, but still a nice personal feedback by the writer. I can relate to his "lack of nastiness" observation (when he compared it to a ZL1) since after I recently drove a black one, the single observation I had to compare to is that it doesn't have the rawness of my BOSS302's 'Roadrunner' pwerplant. But then again the C7 is still a sleek fast techno-advanced machine. I can't wait until I finally get my

I did the event as well and really enjoyed it. I think Fenwick really nailed it. The car is amazing, handles like a dream, brakes are insane and the exhaust note is other worldly. The car does not scare at all though. It is so buttoned down and "corporate" in a sense. I guess the goal was to make it as appealing to as many as possible and they certainly accomplished that. BTW, the clutch was pretty damn good as well.

Agree, dialed down indeed. I love the clutch, shifter, & tranny on the MT unit I tested... especially the rev matching even in Touring mode. makes me wanna give up my other car.
