yes, had a good look at it in the pits. not one single mod not even a aftermarket drop in filter. only thing nonstock was the drag radials.

I'm thinking with decent track prep and some history of racing someone can make the ZL run mid 11's completely stock. My friend has run an 11.77 completely stock, and the other mentioned has run 11.71.... so certainly another tenth is still out there.

Are you talking about a zl1 or a gt500? That would be a really high trap speed for a stock zl1 on drag radials.

I'm not sure about the automatic, but I took my M6 to the track exactly as it came off the showroom floor and ran 11.78/117 on a 75 degree day. I go to the track about 3 times a year and I'm certainly no pro. I've been driving manual trans high performance cars from all of the big auto makers for several decades if that counts for something. lol.

Pretty sure there are few videos of them going around bone stock roughly 7-9mph faster and over half a second faster as well. Seems like a very slow time for the GT500 and right on par with the z.

And who are you to say anything about my driving? Im IHRA certefied for 8.50 and have raced cars you could only dream of.

A supposed IHRA certified driver and with an automatic car making that power and your best timeslip is 12.2 @ 115 with a 1.9 60ft? Cmon dawg...I'd expect that out of a driver in a manual car on his first trip to a drag strip.

What do my times have anything to do with that turd run? No my car is not faster, but I don't praise around the internet going 12.2 @ 115 in a supercharged 570hp car.

FWIW, my 4000lb stock stalled 4L65E car with bolt-ons (making around 370rwhp) and all season tires ran 12.6 @ 112. With 150 rwhp, a better geared transmission and summer tires I'd sure hope to run a helluva lot better than that.

They have gone 11.2@127mph stock. In a straight line I would still give a stock z06 the advantage, but not by much.
