That's what I was thinking. I did manage to talk the shop into doing the dash pipe lighting for me, $20 was worth it to me. But my buddy keeps trying to talk me into the big upgrades like turbos...

As bad as that is, I think I would prefer a sand storm to a hail storm.

I would take the insurance check and then trade/sell it off for a new one. Somebody will buy the blasted car who is not as picky, and then you won't have a "damaged and repaired" car. Just my 2 cents. Good Luck.

From someone who has had 500+ dents from hail you are better off with hail. PDR technology this day is sick. Nothings worse than having the entire car repainted!
