you have a 2011 with 31K miles on it...so you are going to get the short end of the stick when trading it in. Even if you put a large amount down when you bought it, you are going to be upside down considerably with the car. Trading in after one year is far from advisable.

I have to say.....I went from my evo to jeep (both stick) to my ram and the camaro (auto) and have to say that my 2 1/2 hour round trip commute to work per day is much more enjoyable with an auto. It beats the stick (for me at least) in stop and go traffic. I have already had friends bother me about not getting a manual and it does not bother me in the least. My car, my car payments, my choice.

I wanna say that you keep your car for a few more years unless you are ok with taking a hit to the wallet

BTW...the LS3 does have more power....but rather neglible in the long run. Plus the auto can be converted over to the LS3......just saying.

Honestly if I were you, I'd just keep the auto along w/ an LS3 conversion in mind... And hooker party. But that's just me.

This. That is a lot of miles for a 2011; you're gonna get hosed on trade-in. Just keep what you have! Trading a 2SS for a 2SS is really a waste, dude.

Just out of idle curiosity, how old are you, OP?

Go to a good shop and get a tune on your engine and trans, it will change the way you feel about autos and cost a whole lot than a new car.

Manual Pro - LS3 vette motor
Auto Con - L99 truck motor

Seriously, if you have the money and you miss shifting - go for it

With minimal mods, the l99 is a better quarter mile car for moderately good drivers. Most 6M guys can't get off the line and shift well. I have lots of fun with them at the dragstrip. See me and a manual at the dragstrip on my youtube posts at ParisTNDude. You'll see.
