I agree, content is what matters, post count doesn't make one smarter than another.

Over at chirpthird.com we use 1st through 6th gear and always try to remember quality over quantity.

What about a reputation system instead? You click a "Thanks" button on an individual post and they build rep points. That way informative posters are rewarded over quantity. And you could use the same names like 1SS, 2SS, Z28 etc., depending on how many rep points they have. Just a thought.

I brought that up a year or so ago as well. one of the drawbacks is that a whole slew of people could "bump" someones rep, but that doesnt mean anything more than people like them. kinda like myspace friends. you can have 5320478 of them, but it doesnt mean anything.

tho LS1LT1.com does have an "experience" type thing, that is essentially the same thing. when someone answers a question or posts up some good advice, others will click and add to their "tech rep" so that others will know that they can trust the advice that person is giving.

I'm thinking milk.... Dancing pink milk carton being the ultimate level. We'll start off with baby fomula, then the little sized milk cartons from elementary school, so on and so forth.

I like the idea but that may just create more worthless post from people
trying to get there post up so they can get that special title.
