I think you should have to get your custom title approved by a mod from now on if you're under a certain post count. That was one of the perks of participating in conversations on other forums.

I can't speak for the others, but that sounds like it would just be an annoyance for everyone involved. We do more moderating and less participating than we like as it is now. I don't welcome the creation of extra work for us.

I third the motion...but add that any off topics should not count as a post count. Then you all would truely understand that I'm a nooblet.

Personally, I don't put any weight in what a user title says. It's more about the content of the post than the #'s for me.

we've gone over that subject before. initially it was just the PWA and "Random" threads, but the whole Off topic section would have to be a "no post added area" for it to work. which is fine either way.
