The Camaro Team is really looking forward to this event -- and I think everyone will have a great time.........

A couple of favors, please?

First -- please - wear your safety belts as you make your way to Valdosta.....and that means everyone riding with you. I know I sound like a broken record -- but we want you to arrive safely -- and we want you around for many more of these events.

Second -- please be vigilant --esp. if you are in a caravan - I'd hate to see a couple of new Camaros damaged as someone rear-ends another......

Third -- if you're getting tired, please pull over and get out for a few minutes -- stop for a cup of coffee -- or a bowl of soup. (soup is a quick way to get some nourishment and wake you up - trust me on this!)

And finally - come prepared to have a SPECTACULAR TIME!

I was wondering when all this was going to be said...Please everyone be safe...remember it only takes one person not paying attention to cause an accident. And that could be very bad with all of us together, would be a few Camaro's with front and rear damage. Also no reason to try to prove anything..we are all going there to have fun!!

In a caravan one of the things you need to watch out for is "rubber banding" the cars toward the middle and back wind up having to speed up and then suddenly slow down. If you notice the car ahead of you "getting away from you" you need to slowly increase your speed to keep up.

As far as seatbelts...how many race car drivers don't wear one...I thought so. Personally I feel naked without it.

Edog had a great suggestion for our group heading south on 95. Instead of a huge pack we will be in groups of 5 or 6 with a pack leader in each group. Planning on stops along the way gas/bathrooms and exit #'s already planned incase we get broken up a bit. Thank you to the Camaro team and to the moderaters for setting this up. Will start posting pics from my laptop when we leave thursday morning and some video I hope. See all soon and drive safe......
