Any thoughts?
So here's the story. I have a 2013 1LT, with the stock Mylink stereo system. A few months ago I started noticing a kind of vibrating rattling sound from the back seat. Turns out it's the cover for one of the speakers. I have my bass turned up probably about 4/5s of the way but don't normally listen to super insanely high bass songs and only turn it up to aroun 18-22 but around 20 or so a moderate bass song makes the cover over the speaker vibrate.
Anyone else had this happen and if so how did you fix it? I can't stand driving without music and if I turn it down much lower it just plain sucks. |

I thing you can access it from the trunk, unless you have a convertible. Mine was rattling a bit from delivery, and I just played with the speaker from inside the trunk, and it went away. I don`t think it was the cover tho, it was the speaker rattling due to not being tight enough.

Gee... I thought sounding like the car was going to fall apart was the goal! I hate that rattly shit.

Attach some cloth to the opposing side of the speaker, that what I did when I have any issues like that.

Sweet, thanks for the link and replies. It could be the speaker is loose, I said cover because when I got in the back seat and put a little pressure it stopped but I may have pushed the cover onto the speaker and stopped it from rattling.
