The diff is an available GM Performance Part. I bought one a year ago for my 1LE and took it back out when I traded the car. Part # was listed in the GM Performance Parts Catalog.
The splitter is probably also available as it is part of the aero package sold via GM Performance. The grill with the flowtie on the other hand was not supposed to be an available part to prevent clones. But I'm not sure that dealers are enforcing the VIN requirement. I bought four spare Z/28 wheels from my local dealer, not who I got the Z from, and they didn't ask for a VIN.

Has anyone installed the Z28 exhaust(22906768) on a SS? I've done a bit of googling and haven't seen one? Anyone have a sound clip?

Just dicking around on the internet and found that the fender flares seem to have new part numbers, and look to be not restricted anymore. Does anyone have the new numbers? I think I found the front 2 on GMpartsdirect

Does it come with all the mounting hardware/bushings? Finally, did it come with all the cooling lines and every thing needed to install or did you need to purchase anything else to make it functional? Sorry about all the questions, I'm a novice and want to get all my ducks lined up to eliminate any down time due to not being prepared. |

The '14-'15 Z/28 is a 5th gen. Itll fit the other years, but you need the rocker panels, front facia, front splitter for it all to line up.

The diff has the rear cover with the cooler but none of the parts needed to install the cooling in a non-Z/28 are included. (lines from trans to radiator and radiator to diff and back to trans, line mounting brackets and hardware, etc.) When I put the Z/28 diff in my 1LE I bought the cooling kit that Chevy Performance sells. Includes great instructions and all the required hardware including torque to yield bolts for the driveshaft and calipers but you end up with an extra rear diff cover. What's not included in the cooling kit is the special tool to protect the seals in the diff when removing and installing the axles.

I have the instructions that came with the splitter and the mini fender extension things, i could snap a pic of them and load them for you if you want. The splitter instructions suck though
