Construction advisory

Just an FYI. Perhaps others can update how their trip went

We drove up 55N out of Memphis to 57N to 70E though Illinois and Indiana. 55 and 57 had some minor construction with several lane closures. It was raining so the work areas were not active and there were no delays. 70E was fine until we got to Indiana. About five miles in from the state line it went to a single lane. This lasted about eight miles. Again it was raining lightly and the work area was not active. Other than the traffic it was not to bad. At the 21mm another stretch of single lane began. This time there was a 15-20 minute period of stopped traffic. Never saw why. Never saw any workers or active equipment. Once thru that section at the 34mm all was clear until the 51mm. Signs indicated lane closure and there were barrels on the side of the road almost until I exited at the 69mm. There was no activity but it looks like there may be. This is just a heads up for that route if you plan to come that way. We almost went I40 from Memphis to Nashville but chose this route to avoid having to loop the cities. We saw almost no police activity all the way from Memphis to Indy. Good luck and be careful. Looking forward to meeting as many of you as I can.

Yeah I checked that and I didn't see touch construction. Fortunately it wasn't to bad since it rained all day and was around 5:00-5:30 when we went thru.
