GM gray hockey stripes 92227579

Here a question for anyone that might have an answer for this problem? I just put on a set of Gary's custom fenders! My car has the hockey stripe package and when I went to my local dealer to buy the stripes part # 92227579 comes up .So I ordered them they come I open them at the dealer and they are Gray but a dark gray? They are also confused ? They check with GM and they are positive this is a correct part number! This was and is the number of the stripes that they put on the car, and I have the invoice with this part number? So this is one question I have can this be due to fading of the vinyl ? Or is it just the wrong color that Gm has made? The car is a 2010 black with gray ,light gray hockey stripes, thanks Motor
