If it looked like it was going 200 mph, and was just sitting at the light... Probably wasn't me because mine is Red Jewel with Painted Grey stripes and 5 spoke aftermarket wheels.. LoL

I think I found my vacuum leak....

Turns out about a 1" long gap of the gasket running between the vararam wedge and throttle body had basically melted and ran down.

The spot was almost totally concealed from the top/sides of the throttle body so my spray tests weren't getting anywhere near it.

Fuel trims jumped back to around 1.05 on the LTFT and anywhere from .84-1.01 on the STFT (varied a lot).

I'll test it more tomorrow but I've gotta say I'm disappointed with that gasket from vararam... Maybe it just wasn't formulated right at manufacture causing it to melt under normal temps or something. It wasn't torqued on or anything...

I took the throttle body off to see if there was some type of crack in the power wedge or throttle body and just stumbled on to it.

You can pick up about 30-35rwhp with a tune and a set of longtubes. Pacesetter makes a pretty nice longtube for those cars that's relatively cheap. We've installed about 10 sets of them and the fitment is very good as well. Most places sell them coated for $350 or less.

A tune alone makes a nice SOTP difference. There's all kinds of TQ management and timing restrictions that can be removed in the V6 PCM's.

Texas speed makes a nice header, cheap, for the V-8

Have to say I love the way my car sounds now....it's very mild just putzing along but you stomp it, it gets loud quick.
