Ideas for under hood bow tie modification

Anyone have any ideas on modifying the under hood Bow tie? I guess masking off the other areas and hitting it with some matte black paint would be one way to go.

Thanks

I kept mine very simple. Just taped it and sprayed it w/ gloss black Rustoleum.

That looks great. But it looks more trick than just spraying the indented Bowie with gloss black. It looks like a metallic finish ....what Am I missing?

It appears to be an aftermarket bowtie that bolts on. I made one for mine out of aluminum & backlit it with LEDs... Sorry, bad phone pic.

Anyone have the exact dimensions of the bowtie underneath the hood by any chance? My dad works with sheet metal and he is going to fabricate a custom bowtie for me.

This is what I did. I made it out of aluminum, painted it that sme color as my car and added the 45th emblem.
