Unhappy Dealer Mark Up

Curious to see what kind of mark up we're going to see on the new Stingray. My guess is that the first several hundred are going to cost 25-30% more than those that come after. Supply and demand rules ... whether it's a Vette or a bag of corn.

Those dealers mimic your username since it captures what you just stated re: 25-30% more... and it's also synonymous with
:madgrin:

Joking aside, there are reputable dealers who won't add above the sticker or pad up for market adjustments, etc... e.g. Becky @ Rodgers

I called Les Stanford Chevrolet (Metro-Detroit) and Coughlin Chevrolet (N/E Ohio) and had a long conversation with each. I have submitted a $1000 allocation deposit with one of them. Each of these facilities are in the top 3-5 Corvette selling dealerships in the country; 200+ units a year. Both Stanford and Coughlin guarantee that they will not sell a 2014 over MSRP, and that's in writing.

$2000 on a Z51 coupe.....hoping I get it before the snow flies......
