Well, I finally have my CGM Z51! Wow, what a car! Here's a couple of pix from the delivery. That's me in the white polo. I was fortunate to have my nephew and 10 friends join me for the experience (though only 3 could go on the plant tour with me). Their presence made the day even more special.

Chris was my NCM guide for the day, and did a great job! Shane and Lori were very busy, but made it a point to welcome me and thank me for being there.

It was well worth the $990 for the R8C Museum Delivery, and the nearly 8-month wait from deposit to delivery!

Great post and great looking car. Mine is same CGM only Kalahari interior. It was built on Wednesday (Oct 16), waiting on museum delivery.
How long did it take you to go from built (3800) to delivery?

WNICKK, mine was built Aug. 29, and it was delivered to the Museum Sept. 30. I was on a club vacation and picked it up Oct. 4. My circumstances are not typical, as mine was built very early (#196!) and was held for QC then went AWOL to Nashville for a couple of weeks.

My understanding is that unless there is a problem with a given car, build-to-delivery is only a couple weeks or so now. The Museum can deliver 8 cars a day, every day the plant is running (for the VIP tours). Right now, that's 48 a week. Yours shoukd be cominf soon - hang in there!

Shane called me Friday to schedule delivery. First available date was 10/31 (unfortunately, couldn't go that day b/c leaving for vacation). So... I am now scheduled for 11/14

My car was produced 10/10, the Museum got the car on 10/18 (1 week +1 day - not too bad!), with first available slot on 10/31 (2 weeks).

Great schedule as far as I'm concerned. So... 11/14 it is

Miss Scarlet, you will very much enjoy the experience, and the car both! Enjoy your vacation and certainly post some pix of your delivery!

Sorry did not see your question until today. RedHot was built the week of October 7th. Just a week now until I drive her home from the Museum

Any word from any of you who are taking Museum Delivery of convertibles? I've heard they are coming off the line now. Let's see some pix!
