Screw Target AND Walmart, and to a lesser extent Gamestop and Best Buy.
Target WILL NOT sell NFS Rivals today. Don't bother trying to talk them out of it either. Showing them EAs site that shows the release date doesn't work. So basically, I couldn't do their buy 2 get 1 deal. So I went to Walmart who advertises a "No Hassle" price match guarantee. The guy said "I don't know how we could do that in our system." I suggested he charge a penny for one of the games, OR, just price them each at $40. So he calls over his manager. She looks me in the eye and says "We don't match 'gimmick' ads." I said "Why is this a gimmick? It doesn't require I sign up for anything. Its just their sale." She says "It's designed to get people into their store." Uh...WHAT THE FRACK DO YOU THINK AN AD IS?! ARGH!

Best Buy and Gamestop were a bust too. Looks like I'll have to drive to Fry's which is an hour away. GAH!

That's messed up. Amazon sent me one of the 3 games I ordered and charged me 40 bucks. I was trying to figure out what the $40 charge was for when I discovered it.

Yep. Got the same bullshit from Best Buy the other night, my Target did sell me rivals though.

BOGO's are not the same as price matches. Retailers don't usually match BOGO offers.
