Dual Mode Exhaust Deleted For 2018 ZL1?

Hey guys, I am about to pull the trigger on factory order for a 2018 ZL1 Convertible. When the salesman sent over the full order sheet for me to confirm the options and pricing, I saw no NPP option code for the Dual Performance Exhaust. I know this was there on the 2017s for sure as evident by some window stickers online (at least for the ZL1 coupe, unsure if 2017 convertibles came with NPP?).

In searching through the Chevy.com build your own, it also doesn't show up as 2018 standard equipment (nor optional), and mentions nothing at all about the exhaust in the Mechanical Summary section.

Can anyone with a 2018 non-1LE coupe or convertible confirm that NPP is gone?

Also, I'm in California so am hoping the YF5 option for California emissions isn't causing this NPP option to disappear.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the quick reply - hoping this is just a miss on Chevy's end - have attached pics showing the 2017 vs 2018 build summaries to show what I am talking about

The dual mode exhaust stating it uses vacuum pumps sounds like a 5th gen features list. I know my car has electric motorized valves and would think the convertible would have the same.

On the Chevy Site, under "Build Your Own"
It lists dual mode exhaust as standard equipment on the ZL1

It’s standard. No need to worry.

Thanks guys - good catch on the wording on "vacuum pump" - now makes me pretty sure Chevy screwed it up on the 2017 description and corrected it on the 2018.

NPP is standard, and electrically actuated.

It's a standard feature of the car. If they left it off any ordering/build literature, it's probably just a typo.

Technically, isn't it 5 mode exhaust? "Penta-mode" lol.

Whats up the with vaccum statement? I thought the NPP was controlled by a motor that sends a PWM control?

Also, how is the DOD/AFM control done? Is'nt it just vaccum controlled? I've never actually seen it, and I'm just wondering how it quiets everything down so much in V4?

I don't know about AFM...but the last-generation of NPP was vacuum controlled. Could be a legacy typo that was carried over.
