A plan needs to get solidified. A lot of people a traveling from all over the state we need to know where to meet up and at what times in case we all get separated. Getting too late in the game to "wing it" and too many cars to play follow the leader.

I'll be at the Oasis for lunch. If it sounds like there isn't a formal plan, after lunch I'll hit some of the back roads in the Hill Country (Devil's Backbone anyone?? ) and then head back to Buda for the Cabela's meet.

There is a cruise down Lime Creek Road after the Oasis and then back downtown. We are going to skip the cruise and head downtown to scope out the garages for the photo op. Worse case scenario.....we head out to Cabela's early and we can invade Cabela's to hang out and wait for the show to start. Don't know if Austin Speed Shop's lot is big enough to house us and not sure about dealerships. The one we deal with is in North Austin and their lot is usually really FULL, but I could call them in the morning just in case.

My $0.02...stick with the plan that is laid out in the first post and we'll improvise if the parking garage thing falls through.

Agreed and us locals know of some other places around downtown too if need be.

Something that comes to mind that probably can handle all of the cars is the overlook spot at Barton Creek Mall or even Mansfield Dam has a good backdrop and enough space and could be gotten to along the way.

I think AFB is due for another meet and greet at Barton Creek Mall and cruise down to the Salt Lick in Driftwood... need to plan that... it was always a great time in the past
