New hood for the SS!

Last night the better half and I were looking at craigslist for replacement hoods if I screwed up the install the hex vents that I was going to purchase. She stumbled upon this mint condition Seibon TS hood. I had no intentions of going carbon anything on the car but for $400 we couldn't pass it up! It's a kinda importish but after installing it, I am loving it more than I thought!

I didnt screw anything up actually. We were looking for hoods locally in case I screwed up. We found a few but then she saw this hood and we scrapped the whole idea of doing the hex vents. I may still do it in the future but for now the stock hood is a wall decoration in the garage haha.

Thanks! Currently the aerocatches are just for show haha. I did not get a chance to install the pins last night. That will be today. Also, I just saw your post on your Ikon side skirt post and I have to say, that inspired me. They look wild!

I am in Springfield. The guy posted in Columbia Craigslist and stated he was from boonville. After talking to him I realized he was from boonville Iowa which is 20 minutes west of des Moines in Iowa. So we met in Bethany, MO which is almost to the Missouri border. 4 hours each way for me but it was worth it.
