Camaro for Ferrari?
Hey guys been a while!!! anyways i came along a offer from one of my teammate, he wants to trade his 2012 ferrari california for my 2011 SLS amg and my 2011 camaro ss! (all cars are paid off) i did my research to value the cars as if i was gonna sell them privately, the ferrari came around 190k. camaro 27k, SLS 155k. ( i did not go to a dealer to get them evaluated, i just based those prices from looking at different websites) a while back i tried to get a f430 scuderia approved but it didn't work out due having too many loans on cars already. since most of my other cars are being financed..they suggest me trading in my SLS, either way i have to get rid of it if i want a ferrari, now from the prices i have it would be a good deal to me! plus i would run away from interest loan. But another thing holding me back is the camaro, i love the car period. so i don't know, what do you guys think? worth going from two cars to one? maybe a counter offer?? (if any one have suggestions on a offer, feel free to drop it) ill post some pics of my cars but other then sls, camaro, jeep. they are not paid off!
Other cars 2013 sl550, 2013G550, 2012CLS550, 2014 jeep overland, 2011 charger rt mopar and mustang is gone! |

If it were me I would do the trade. You could always pickup another Camaro later.

If I was in your situation I wouldn't let my cars go just because it is a Ferrari. You have much better cars than the Ferrari now.

I would do it for sure! The SLS AMG is an amazing car, but no matter how good it is, it isn't a Ferrari, and the Camaro is a small loss if a Ferrari is what you'd gain. If they hold sentimental value, then keep them, but if it was me, id trade in a heart beat

First, let me say that is quite an amazing collection of cars you have. What I would do is sell the Jeep privately (you'll get more than youd get for the camaro), and trade your friend the sls and give him the 27k from the sale of the jeep. You already have a G-Wagon, so it's not like you really need another SUV.

Since he mentions teammate I'll assume he must mean some kind of professional team.

That's a terrible trade. The California isn't that bad of a car, but it's not nearly as good as the AMG, and for you to include the Camaro just makes the deal worse. Keep the cars, don't go for it.
