Here is a 1999 B4C I drove at work. I really need to dig up my other pictures and upload them.

Nice B4C cars. Wish I could find more history on mine...it has had a number of owners and is a Patriot Red 1994 M6 car, 84k miles, in okay shape...doesn't appear to have any signs of being a police used vehicle but maybe it was an unmarked unit. Originally purchased in IL and 6 months and 8700 miles later registered in OH where it bounced around but remained registered until Jan 2013. I bought it off another Marine on base here in 29 Palms in June 2013 but know it had another owner before him...would like more info though.

Just picked up a pair of 2001's at a local auction a couple of weeks ago.

Here's a pic, one could use some new paint n the other could use an interior freshen up, but both were well under 100k miles.

I'm gonna be doing a project pretty soon called good cop/bad cop, keep an eye out for it.

I have had 3 b4c cars. Lots of fun. My 2001 former Louisville Metro Police unit is for sale. You can see the listing in the 4th gen marketplace here on Camaro5.

Greetings fellow B4C addicts...

I've been searching off and on for a breakdown of production numbers for manuals vs. autos prior to 1997 (specifically 1993). I've been scouring the 'net and haven't come up with anything yet. The only option I can come up with at this point is to somehow go through GM and research the VINs for all 135 made in '93 (except for my two ). I highly doubt they'll be willing to put the time and effort in though, that's even if the records still even exist.

Anyone have any other ideas, sources, etc?

You might contact the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB). This a not for profit agency and is a go between between manufactures of autos and Law Enforcement. The NCIB replaced the NATB (National Auto Theft Bureau).

The NICB has all the technical info for identifying possible stolen vehicles. You can also get VIN checks done to show a vehicle is not stolen. NICB produces books detailing how VIN numbers are used on vehicles and the VIN specific information.

NICB may have been supplied the production figures from GM for the number of B4C Camaro with an auto or manual transmission.
