My dad's new SUV has that feature. I guess he likes it.

if the rods are broken you will get a suspension service warning in the dic

I feel like it is all Hype, unless you are on a smooth track and then I would say, I prefer it, other than that I bet in six months every bolt in the front end is loose and has taken a severe beaten from the constant jarring because the suspension does not give an inch when it hits a bump. Opinions?.
Assuming it's not broke....I think, perhaps, you misunderstand what it was supposed to do. If that car didn't have Mag ride - you'd be banging your head off the headliner every-time you hit a pothole. To contend with the weight, the ZL1 features relatively stiff springs. The Mag Ride tames them...but it doesn't make a 1.0G-capable car ride like a Malibu.

I feel as though the ZL1 rides more comfortably in tour mode than a standard SS. Yet it can feel as stiff as the 1LE in sport mode.

All the while - it's constantly adjusting to keep your tires on the road, where they belong...

It's brilliant!

Your doctor can probably prescribe you a "little blue pill" should take care of things.
