Example Yenko produced 4 years and built a total of 340 cars
1967 Yenko Camaro's built 54
1968 Yenko Camaro's built 68
1969 Yenko Camaro's built 201
1981 Yenko Turbo Z was basically a Z/28 with a turbo kit added on and only built 17

So the minimum requirements outside of GM would be 2 years 100 cars.

SEMA cars will be judged on a case by case basis. Was it a Camaro done for GM or was it built as proof of concept for a GM supporting vendor. Supporting vendor cars will not count.

I hope this helps, and thank you for bringing this to my attention.
Ok that helps. Let me do some looking. One off the top of my head should be the Berger SS 4th gens, including the ZL1. Most sites show around a 100 built over a couple of years and came with GM warranties. Trying to find a website with good info. The Phase III included the C5.R block (427ci).

Edit: Check this listing out. Has some of the history. There was Berger SS, Hot Rod Magazine Edition, and Dick Harrell Edition.

I'll help you out a little...

In 1973, there were essentially two models. 1FQ87 Camaro Sport Coupe (V6 or V8) and 1FS87 Camaro Type LT (V8). You could add the Z22 package, which is better known as the RS. You could also opt for the Z28 package. The Z28 was not a stand alone model, nor was the RS.

In fact, the Z28 did not become a separate (stand alone) model until 1977. The SS was not a separate model until 2010. In other years these packages were not unlike the 1LE or RS of today.

You mentioned in your original post, you were looking for models. If you want to start adding option packages, you'll have literally hundreds of combinations. In 1973 you could have a Type LT RS Z28. Or Type LT RS. Or Type LT Z28. Or Camaro Coupe with RS. OR Camaro Coupe with Z28... See what I mean?

I'll help...

For the 2001 and 2002 model years, there was a RS model (v6 only) up-fitted by SLP: https://sites.google.com/site/brangeta/slprs
(I was the original owner of the silver RS example)

Also, for the 1996 model year, there was only the 1 variant of the "SS" which was the Z28 SS, up-fitted by SLP. Also of note, as mentioned earlier, only the 1996 SS had "Z28 SS" labeling. The labeling was located on the airbox lid frame, the optional floor mats, the optional car cover and on a cloisonne badge located on the center console ashtray lid (manual transmission) or on the shifter center column panel (automatic). All 1996 Z28 SS cars also had a build number stamped on the cloisonne badge. They also came with 2 additional key chain badges that mimicked the console badge.

I'm going for the primary end result of the car not the option layout. For example in the 6th Gen there is a 1LT and a 2LT and you can order them with a TI4 or a V6 but no mater what power plant you chose it's still a 1LT or 2LT. However if you get the RS package its called an RS regardless if the underlying car is a 1LT or a 2LT, V6 or TI4. So I will have to see how GM designated the 1973 car as a completed car.

Thanks for the data

Technically there are only two models, Camaro Coupe and Camaro Convertible (which there were none in the 2nd gen), but I know what you are getting at. Really everything besides those two is a trim or a package and I think that's what he is really after.

The Camaro White Book is a great resource. That is where I got the information I posted above. If I get some time over the weekend I'll post more information from it to help out.

1969 Z10 RS/SS. only 250 built. "Rocky Mountain Pace Car". This was a hardtop version of the Z11 Indy Pace car. Unlike the Z11, this was only available as a 350 cu in; no 396 BB built.
