WHAT MODS WOULD YOU MAKE TO MY C7?

As I have reported to you as reported by my dealer, I should have my C7 in about 6 weeks, give or take. I am contemplating what mods if any to make. This is a highly optioned C7, and so I shall only make modest mods at first. I'll drive it for awhile before I do anything significant. I have several dealer installed mod options, such as OEM splash guards. I also have a Hurst shifter with black ball I shall install. I'll also do something about a mod to the chrome strip I call "braces" I don't much like that runs across the front grill teeth. That's about it at first.

So, the question is, if this was your C7, what mods would you make?

My C7 is as follows:

Can you tell me what the side skirts and a front splitter actually do for the vette? I hear about a lot of people installing them, but I don't know why. What's the theory behind them.

Also, do you have pics of them to share or web links where we can go to see them?

Update, found some pics, liked what I saw, but also like as is. The only thing I really, really want to change/remove is the chrome strip on the front grill. Anyone have suggestions?

The ones I installed are cosmetic only. I don't think there is any operational benefit from adding these, they just change the look a little. here are what they look like on mine.

I bought mine from lashway motorsports. They arrived within a month or so, easy to deal with. They came in Carbon Fiber or Carbon Flash, I got mine in Carbon Flash. I think they even do body color match now.

Don't know how well front splitter designed but at high speed that help stop lift. Side skirts help keep air turbulence down and keep the air from going under the car
