LT2 / LT3 PRICE INCREASE?
I was messing around on the Corvette Configuration site last night and it looks like Chevy has increased the Pricing on LT2 / LT3 Trim levels by nearly $4,000 for new orders.
The new pricing shows up on the second screen when you are picking Exterior / Interior Color Choices. On the first page, the old pricing is listed next to the Trim Levels. Someone give it a try and tell me I'm not crazy. If it's true, all you current owners and others with Pending Orders are already in the money. |

Same price as always? You sure you weren't looking at the 2013 models?

I saw this as well yesterday, but then looked closer. The site is adding the additional charge for the 2LT ($4210) and the 3LT ($8005) twice. It's already figured in to the base price for each model, and then added as the price of an option after the second screen. I thought at first there was a price increase also, but then noticed the amounts.

What is happening is the website is adding the LT price to what LT package you select for the 2 & 3 LTs. For example, if you select 3LT, the webside adds an additional $8,005 for a total of $75,805 when the price is actually $8,005 less at $67,800. The website can't do simple math. The Affordable Health Care Act webmasters also must be running the GM websites. So, what we have is a trillion dollar government that can't manage a website and a billion dollar corporation that also can't operate one or more of its websites - at least this one, and the tracking website that is now down because it can't propely track Corvette orders and provide meaningful information, like a simple order status number, so we have to go to Becky for that information. Harrumph!

I would like to remind people that the tracking site is useless for every Chevy vehicle line. I suspect GM does not want to be accused of discrimination.
As I have often stated in the past on this and other forums, the tracker site is a true waste of bandwith. Laborsmith |
