Im single and have no wife/kids to take care of...which means enjoy life...or should i be like most other soldiers these days and drink my money away and buy dumb crap i will end up gettin rid of...I will never sell this camaro, or my other camaro...or any other camaro i purchase in the future...im camaro for life and thats how im always gonna be...CHEVY 4 LIFE...
Go ahead and build something bro... dont listen to all this mambo jumbo lol... I started building at 15 years old... I've done some crazzzyy shizknick.

The 2nd post answered the question. We just had fun discussing the philosphy of doing it and going into tangents.

Let is know what the top builders said.

I just did 1000+ RWHP build with 93 octane pump gas.
www.ipsmotorsports.net did the work.

I build the engine myself, so if you are interested on details, please PM me.

Not cheap, but insanely fun

In my case, i build brand new engine from scratch using all good parts.
Then you need to spend money for drivetrain, which in my case included RPS billet triple clutch, Liberty build tremec 6060 and DSS 9" IRS kit with
aluminum thru bolt Moser center section and RPM transmissions lower control arm/brake kit for 15" wheels.

It is $12x xxx, xx Camaro.... (I don't even want to figure out how much it has cost me so far)

Anyone wants to see a 1200 HP street legal Gen5 Camaro, stop in the shop. You can see all thats involved including the cage certified to 8.50 and all from engine to suspension.

I have an ss with the twin ips set up....that alone is 46k ...plus 16k, susp mods are 4k ...rear upgrade 9k , clutch, 2k, fuel upgrades with meth 4k, tuning 1.5 k **PS these prices included install, rebuilt forged eng. 12k. these are just quick evaluations. But as ou see it adds he heck up real fast. I could of saved maybe 3k had I done it all the right way first. Every time I upgrade I do some things twice. Not to mention the stuff I bough and used for a while then scrapped because I upgraded. Sucks being poor. 621 rwhp @ 5.5k/ 680tq at 3k projected new numbers are 800+ rwhp/ 800+ tq...car is being redone as we speak. Good luck, and think before you spend.
